Professor Chris Warhurst is Director of the Institute for Employment Research at the University of Warwick and Co-Chair of REWAGE, the UK Economic and Social Research Council-funded independent expert advisory group for building back better employment within the UK. He is also a member of the UK’s Productivity Institute and an Associate Research Fellow of SKOPE at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on job quality, skills and aesthetic labour. He has published 16 books including The Skills That Matter (2004), Are bad jobs inevitable? (2012), Job Quality in Australia (2015) and the Oxford Handbook of Skills and Training (2017). His forthcoming book is the Oxford Handbook of Job Quality (2022).
