Wouter is Scientist Innovator at the TNO department of Work Health and Technology. Previously he obtained his PhD at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society, Tilburg University (Netherlands), titled “Developing a sense of privacy”. At TNO he is currently involved with research concerning innovations to improve occupational safety. Research topics include safety culture, human reliability, risk perception and the impact of robotics on occupational safety. He also writes papers for scientific journals concerning these topics.
