Marjolein is a senior research scientist and consultant at TNO, with an educational background in human movement sciences. Her field of work is Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and in particular physical workload and workplace ergonomics. She has been managing a societal program on physical workload for the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs for many years and combines this with consultancy work. Within this program she has developed and validated a series of risk assessment tools, a stepwise approach and good practices for employers, to support them in developing and implementing a preventive policy on sustainable physical work.  Marjolein is the project member of BEYOND4.0.
