TNO is one of largest Research and Technology Organisations (RTO) in Europe. The daily work of around 3,000 employees is to develop and apply innovative knowledge for companies, government bodies and public organisations. TNO has extensive expertise in technological, ICT, industrial, life and social sciences. TNO participates in many EU-projects and as a Dutch statutory organisation has an independent position allowing for objective, scientifically founded judgements.
The TNO research groups that participate - Sustainable Productivity and Employability; Work, Health Technology; Strategy and Policy - combine expertise on impact of technology, workplace innovation, sustainable employment and occupational safety & health, robotics, social innovation management, innovation policy, and statistics and data analysis.
TNO will deliver the supportive project management, impact assessments to sector and policy analysis and advice, feasibility studies, and forecasting and foresight, combined with quantitative and qualitative approaches, insights for organisational innovation and implementation activities in the project.
