The BEYOND4.0 Summer School 2019 aims to deepen understanding of evidence-based policies with the transformative potential to positively shape work and welfare in the Digital Age.
In June 2019, a group of about 25 people including researchers, policymakers, PhD students and practitioners will meet at the BEYOND4.0 Summer School to be held in Donostia-San Sebastian (Spain). With peers, it is an opportunity to explore and learn more about creating an inclusive European future. During the Summer School the participants will examine how to study the impact of the new technologies on the future of jobs, business models and welfare.
The BEYOND4.0 consortium, composed of nine European universities and research centres, organises the BEYOND4.0 Summer School 2019, and is designed by the University of Warwick in collaboration with TNO and the University of the Basque Country. The Summer School includes sessions focused on conceptual and historical understanding of technological transformations, as well as current studies and research in the field. The purpose is to generate a new research agenda. In addition to lectures and workshop, a parallel agenda will be organised with site visits to official institutions and leading regional companies.

The Summer School will take place on 3-4-5 June 2019.

-The Summer School has an academic validity of 30 hours. Students will receive an assistance certificate.
