Sally Wright is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Employment Research. Sally is an experienced mixed methods social researcher. She has project managed large-scale qualitative and quantitative research projects. Her research has informed government and industry policy-makers. Sally is currently involved in a study for Eurofound on monitoring convergence in working conditions in the EU. From 2015 to 2018, she was part of a consortium undertaking a large Horizon 2020 project for the European Commission involving comparative EU research on job quality, employment and innovation. She recently completed research for CIPD on job quality. Her work was recently cited in the UK Taylor Review into modern working practices. She has recently co-authored two book chapters about work in the digital age. Sally has more than fifteen years’ experience in conducting research on employment, skills and labour market issues. Her doctoral thesis on job quality is currently under examination.
